Every company is a media company now.

All the production equipment you need is in your phone.

But who can tell your story?

You know, the thing that people remember and that sets you apart from your competitor?

Are you trusting that to someone who just has a camera and a laptop?

Or do you want someone who has made award-winning content in video and print?

Whose work has been sold all over the world?

If your story matters to your business, you need to talk to colbyvision.

Case Study

In 2020, Robert Baker from the Aga Khan Museum, approached me about their fall fund raiser. The event was a necessity for the Museum, it had to be online, and it couldn’t look like a Zoom call.  Baker asked if I could make it look like a professional broadcast.

I said, “Yes’.

The production took place during lockdown under strict distancing mandates. The Museum was closed and the budget reflected the reality of this reduced income.

Over the next two and a half months, I created a production lineup and schedule. I hired crews. I wrote and directed the show myself. In the end, the Museum streamed a nearly two-hour production, going out live, which was seen in 17 countries by more than 17,000 people and raised $860,000.

The production value was so high, I was hired the next year. In 2021, I recommended replacing panel discussions with features about artifacts in the Museum for a faster paced show. The Museum agreed.

Unfortunately, the country was hit with travel restrictions which prevented our host and our music guest from coming to Canada.

I remote produced the standups and Ali Sehti’s performance and interview, delivering the show on schedule and on budget. The 2021 online benefit also raised $860,000.

I have been working with the Aga Khan Museum ever since.
